Therapy Success Story: Ellie T.

success story written on chalkboard with purple wood border

Ellie T. arrived to us in late May after a fall resulted in breaking her leg. Ellie participated with inpatient rehab for 2 weeks before coming to BGNR. Her wishes were to continue with her therapies in order to return home with family and regain her prior level of function. When she came to us, Ellie was unable to put weight through her leg, which limited her ability to perform ADLs, transfer, complete standing activities, and walk. She has worked really hard with PT, OT and ST in order to regain her strength, mobility, and level of independence. Ellie has since been discharged home with her family and can care for herself independently with full range of motion in her knee. We are very proud of her hard work and dedication each and every day in therapy.
