🍵 Reduce or avoid caffeine and sugar. Caffeine and sugar can give you a temporary high but often end in a mood and energy crash. By lessening the amount of sugary food and caffeine in your diet, you’ll feel more relaxed and sleep better which will lead to much less stress.

👃🏼 Aromatherapy is a great way to reduce stress levels and create a relaxing atmosphere for you. Relaxation is different than resting. Aromatherapy consists of many different options, including smelling different herbs, oils, and incenses.

🍎 Eating healthy foods provides your body with energy. The more energy you have, the more your body is able to handle stressful situations and think them through. Eat well-balanced meals to give your body the necessary nutrients to stay healthy and keep stress levels low.

🏃🏻 Walk, bike, run or whatever! Just get out there and do it! A variety of stress hormones and neurochemicals build up in our bodies when we experience chronic stress. Exercise is one of the most effective ways to reduce these chemicals, and one of the most effective ways to prevent significant stress-related damage to our health.
