Short Term Therapy Success

Ms. Jane M. was admitted to Bowling Green Nursing and Rehabilitation on November 24, 2017. She was admitted from the hospital with bilateral ankle fractures and was not able to bare any weight on her legs. She was seen by Occupational and Physical therapy five times a week to improve her strength and endurance while learning how to transfer safely in her environment. She was unable to complete these tasks without significant assistance while her ankles recovered. As a result of her intensive rehabilitation and her dedication to recovery, she has regained her independence in bathing, dressing, transfers, and walking. She is able to ambulate 225 feet with stand by assistance. At this time, she will be discharging to home setting with her husband. We are so very proud of her progress.
